Bark in the Park 25th Annual Event, Sunday, October 6, 2019 10:00AM – 4:00PM, Lakeshore Park

EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Vendor Booth:  $350

  • A 10′ x 10′ tent and space in the main event area. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own table & chairs.

Food Trucks: $200

  • Flat fee upon approval. If you are a food truck vendor, because of limited space, you must speak with Teresa prior to registration.  A designated area, assigned as we get closer to the event, will be reserved for all food trucks.

Partner Shelters/Rescues

Your exhibit space can be set up on Sunday, Oct. 6th between 7:30AM – 9:00AM.  Set up MUST be completed no later than 9AM.

Upon arrival, you must register at the Vendor Check-In Tent to receive your booth number and location.  You may not be able to unload near your space, depending on the location; please be prepared to transport your things to your space. Vehicles are prohibited on the grass per our contract with Lakeshore. Due to the large number of vendors, we will not be able to supply extra volunteers to assist you with unloading and loading.

You may not “sublet” your booth space in whole or part. You are also not allowed to share your booth with another organization or company.

We encourage our participating shelters and rescues to sell merchandise at our event.  We respectfully ask that you refrain from placing a donation jar on your table and soliciting for donations at our event.

 Shelters/Rescues are encouraged to bring adoptable dogs.  All dogs must be on a leash.  All dogs must be fully vaccinated. Each animal shelter/rescue must be able to show current proof of vaccination the day of the event. Because of risk of disease transmission, no puppies are allowed for adoption below 6 months of age.

If you are a participating shelter/rescue, we ask that you contact Ashley Schneider, Shelter Manager, immediately if you cannot attend.  As a non-profit we would like to make every effort to fill your space with either a paid vendor or another shelter/rescue that wants to attend but may be on a wait list.

The food truck craze is all the rage. If you are a food truck vendor, because of limited space, you must speak with Teresa prior to registration.  A designated area, assigned as we get closer to the event, will be reserved for all food trucks.

General Parking is on a first come first serve basis within Lakeshore Park. Please obey all parking rules and traffic ordinances. The Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley is not responsible for any parking violation fees or tickets issued to participants.

Generators are not allowed in individual booths.  Electrical hook ups for booths are limited and not guaranteed.  To request power at your booth please email Cera Smith, Outreach and Events Manager using the contact information below.  If you require electrical hook up, and because it is not guaranteed, please contact Cera prior to registering for this event.   Exhibitors will be responsible for providing their own 200’ electrical cord that meets specific electrical standards which will be provided prior to the event.

The event is scheduled to end at 4:00 pm. Breakdown of your booth or activity area cannot begin until 4:00 PM unless a staff member from the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley informs you otherwise. Please make sure your area is clear of all debris prior to your departure. Breakdown must be complete no later than 5PM.

All reserved booths and registration fees must be received by the deadline of August 31, 2019.  No refunds will be issued due to weather or acts of God. Cancellations will not be refunded.  There is no rain date for this event.  In the event of severe weather, the staff at the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley reserves the right to cancel the event at any time.
